Abstract

The Math Net, a Metadata set for personal data was defined in order to make a qualified search possible for information about persons. The Personal Homepage Maker is a step in the development of Framework and Tools that helps in the creation of standardized personal homepages. The tool performs to create a standardized and valid XHTML, MathML, SVG & RDF documents. The creation of documents could be as embedded objects or as separate files.

As the amount of documents on internet grows day by day, the Math Net, a Metadata set for person data was defined in order to make a qualified search possible for information about persons. It is based upon the international standards in WWW such as Dublin Core Metadata, vCard, RDF, XML.

Substantial steps have been taken at University of Osnabrueck in the development of Framework and Tools that helps in the creation of standardized personal homepages. The Personal Homepage tool is easy to use and is provided with the help of a GUI form. The base task this tool performs is to create a standardized and a valid XHTML, MathML, SVG & RDF documents. The creation of documents could be as embedded objects or as separate files. The generation of syntactic correctness of the XHTML/RDF code is ensured and user can test the validation of document on W3.
